May 10, 2022 I’m relistening right now and being flood with memories of how much I liked this album when it first came out. Absolutely incredible. Controversial opinion but I think Pop>You Better Move>Homecoming might be one of my favourite 3 song runs of all time. The second half also has a decent offer of auto tune crooning uzi people were expecting with songs like Venetia and urgency, but I really like the rapping rapping of the first half. This is the album that really introduced the deluxe trend, remember that. LUVVTW2 is the album a lot of people wanted. A lot of the leaks and snippets people wanted and the songs are great. Something people don’t really mention how every single feature came through on here. From Keef, Future, Thug and 21 absolutely killed it on here. Leaders is the greatest Nav performance of all time. I think the album suffered for a lot of reasons. COVID had just hit, the world was weird. If clubs were open futsal shuffle would’ve been a movement. A lot of people wanted the Tyler version of EA aswell which I can’t blame them. Sanguine paradise is one of my favourite songs of the 2010s. But all that aside, I thibk what we got is severely underrated and you should probably go back and listen to it right now
May 10, 2022 Could never get into it - have tried a lot. my least favourite uzi project. Didn’t Uzi even say he wish he made it better?
May 13, 2022 @Jeans was just revisiting this album and I agree. It's unfortunate that Uzi is retroactively one of the few to buck the deluxe trend even though he was the one who started it. 90% of them are just lazy cash grabs, though in a few cases they've reworked or added to the album to make it the definitive version (Lil Baby, Gunna, G Herbo off top). LUVVTW2 isn't as good as EA but I love how distinct they feel from one another, and it's got some classics like yessirski, moon relate, strawberry peels, bean.
