Went in with very low hopes after reading this thread. Really hit or miss. I enjoy like half of it, the rest is too "I try hard to be deep and appeal to smart people". He's creative with his vocals but his voice still annoys the f--- out of me

    Few keepers for sure though

Wild to think an album actually topped Revival and MMLP2

Die hard is such a waste of a blxst feature sadly. Father Time is great. Also like n95, silent hill, mr morale, saviour, rich spirit they kinda slap

Do you think worldwide steppers is an hommage to worldwide choppers?

I really loved disc 2. I understand some of the criticism, some not so much. Either way, good record.

Been on repeat at work all day. It gets better after every spin. I can totally see people either completely loving this or not liking it at all

N95 is definitely a top 100 song of all time for me, I'll give it that

No. See my previous post. I think he ripped off Tech and it’s my only gripe with the album.

Can't really blame him for wanting to be like tech to be fair

On my 2nd listen while I write this research paper; “We Cry Together” gives a lot of “f--- You Lucy” vibes lol.

After a few more spins I call these bangers: United in Grief, N95, Wordlwide Steppers, Father Time, Rich Spirit, Savoir, Mr. Morale. So yeah, the second CD seems a bit lacking.

Which songs try too hard to be deep? Serious question cause nothing in this feels as socially conscious as almost anything on tpab imo

Kendrick using Drakeo’s “ugh” on “Rich Spirit,” no wonder it’s my favorite track :allears: he also says “mudwalking” on another track too. Long Live The Ruler.

The album is nice I just don’t see myself listening to it again for awhile. Which is disappointing because even with d---. it was all I listened to for weeks. This one I’m kinda exhausted listening to Day 1.
