It dances on your ding-ding like a hard workin' harlot when you're on gummy mode and rides it out until she successfully brings Damien alive. VOILA! Tell that Kitty it's Damien's Dinner Time.

I’m relistening to TPAB and I definitely enjoy MMBS more. It’s grown on me after a handful of listens.

    TPAB continues to be overrated

I am relistening to TPAB right now and I must say I forgot how great It is. The f---ing poem that forces You to skip the fragments of the album all the time really dragged It down in my memory I guess. But I still like the new one a lot, as well. I still don't have time to digest the lyrics properly though.

ive seen too many reviews praising this album

it's because of this I am now changing my opinion and naming this the best album of all time, 11/10 loved it front to back like everybody else

It’s a song talking about trans-acceptance within a Black/religious family/household. Its audience isn’t for super woke white hipsters but rather people who grew up in similar environments as Kendrick. Societal implications aside (has there been a major rap artist to make a pro-trans song like this? I genuinely don’t know) I like the song even though it’s prob not in my top 5 on the album. People are going to feel how they feel about him using the f-slur; you can’t change how people feel. I do think some people are missing the forest for the trees with this though.

'my girl trans' by makonnen is the closest thing I can think of lol

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate its intention and it's grown on me though despite coming across as a bit Macklemore-ian. Like I said I don't think it's any of those things I mentioned outright, I think there's probably a small bit of truth to most of the criticisms and praises and that's ok. In an album that largely deals with personal flaws and is flawed in and of itself it's sort of fitting that way.

Kendrick is just so much more charismatic/interesting than Macklemore, there’s just no way I could ever think he’s that corny lol. He def has his moments though.

Where would you even bump this? Not at a party not at the gym not cruising around, where? Going to a funeral preparing a speech?

I hate this argument lmao, not all music is meant to be played in that setting. That's like shi--ing on Radiohead for not making party or gym music.
