May 24, 2022 It's like 45% of the country wake up everyday and say "I'm going to catch COVID19 and not wear a mask, then eat horse dewormer paste and vote for the dumbest person to be my US Representative and give my mentally unstable kid an AR15... dontcha remember all our AR15s from our Christmas cards? Well, he is getting an even better one with a suppressor and a 100 round C Mag Drum... ooh, how's that feel? You are so owned, libtard! Let's go Brandon!" And they happen to live in the states and voting districts that control America and feel like they are a victim of something.
May 25, 2022 People always say there’s a mental health issue in America, which is true, but they never propose solutions or support politicians who propose ideas to combat mental health issues—-healthcare for all, increase wages, trade school/college for free. Lift people up. Give them a chance. Not saying give everyone a million dollars and a mansion. The US is so far behind every other developed country in terms of healthcare, wages and education. We are also 4% of the worlds population but have 42% of the worlds guns. Maybe try to tighten background checks and limiting the sale of deadly rifles, high volume ammunition clips, dangerous gun modifications and get that down to at least 25% AND ALSO fund healthcare, increase wages and educate people after high school for free and we wouldn’t see so many senseless shootings.
May 25, 2022 Republicans would rather turn all schools into single-entry, windowless fortresses where every administrator, teacher, and student is within arms reach of an AK before even considering limiting guns or funding healthcare in any fashion. Ridiculous.
May 25, 2022 I'm also having a tough time accepting that I live in a country where we need to convince people not to vote for MTG.
May 25, 2022 Like which part of her extensive resume has people with actual brains thinking "Oh yea, she's the one we need."
May 25, 2022 the shooter engaged in a s---t out with police *before* entering the school. The police couldn’t stop 1 guy from killing 15+ kids. These useless pieces of s--- literally watched this dude walk into an elementary school & slaughter children.
May 25, 2022 This is terrible. I think we need some gun reform and to arm the schools with police officers.
May 25, 2022 I haven’t read up on the details of that interaction, but I don’t understand this portion of your quotas, within the context of the rest of it. it sounds like there was an active attempt to stop the shooter, by means of an exchange of deadly weapons.
May 25, 2022 Is there statistics to pair with the first infographic, which would show correlation between those red highlighted states and acts of violence and/or inter-terrorist attacks?
May 25, 2022 The local police department in that city spends ~40% of their budget on law enforcement & they couldn’t stop one guy from going into a school & murdering children. We’ve seen endless videos of police using lethal force when not needed to apprehend/detain individuals but the one time it’s warranted they squander? 40% of the budget goes to that?
May 25, 2022 I once flew to Montegomery, Alabama and then drove 100mph to Atlanta. I think the scary parts anywhere are the edge between rural and suburbs where dumb boring white people make owning a AR (or 7) their whole entire personality... all their Tshirts and bumper stickers say something about guns or libtards... it's not like they are living off the land or anything just driving their F150s to Target and McDonald's and thinking they are better than lazy city folks (minorities).
May 25, 2022 yeah, but you're suggesting that a decent enough part of that 40% is allocated to having multiple police preemptively stationed outside of all schools to anticipate an armed teen that could border-line casually walk into a school without notice while blending in with the faculty staff. if i'm picking up the contextual clues, then it sounds like their response and/or preemptive awareness time was on point if they were able to interact prior to the gunman entering the facility --so maybe the correct $ allocations are in place. it's an incredible shame that they didn't win that battle, but to insinuate that the police just watched the armed c---- walk into the school despite knowing that they got in a fire fight is hoshposh here.
