Yeezus literally had no cover and its considered Ye's best album by many lol. Its fine to like or dislike it but who really cares. If i wanna see artwork I go to a museum. Jul 13, 2022 I think in regards to WoW, the song and the subject matter was very fitting at the time when it released. All the talk on online forums about whether Em reads comments on his verses and songs etc, he acknowledged them all, even mentioning the No Favors verse, it was clear that he was aware of the criticism he was getting and his feelings towards it, it felt like it was leading to him trying to reclaim his "prime" if you like. Unfortunately the album didn't do justice for the subject matter of the song. Maybe if the album fitted towards what he talked about on the track then maybe it would have been more well received in the present day
Jul 13, 2022 The people who say nothing on revival is good honestly I get that you might not be for revival but revival is not bad it’s just low tier compared to other Marshall projects. In my head, castle, arose & believe are top tier to me.
Jul 13, 2022 I'm not saying MMLP2 is a bad album. The songs you mentioned above are great. Lyrically great but it just does not sound good delivery wise nor production wise. His flow sounds offbeat and vocal tonality is weird on most tracks. Definitely think Recovery, Kamikaze, and MTBMB Deluxe carry more replay value.
