Aug 5, 2022 Not by the masses lol, that s--- was played to death in the UK at least. All the girls I knew learnt all the lyrics and played it constantly out their s-----y speakers lol Okay maybe it was 1 girl but ye
Aug 5, 2022 I still hate that he points out bars by saying "get it" or repeating it in the adlibs, but I appreciate they're a lot quieter on ITL
Aug 5, 2022 I see a lot of peope praising Walk On Water now. I still don't like it. Em's voice and delivery sound boring to me. And I think the song would have been much better if at some point the beat exploded, like if it started getting fuller, groovier, I don't know how to explain it. It's too monotonous. The concept of the song is great, and it's very poetic but it lacks charm.
Aug 5, 2022 I mean, the song the way it is was never going to be a b-----r or repayable but at the time it dropped it seemed like he was listening to all the criticism that he was getting every time he dropped something and that he was ready to address it, it felt like it was the most aware he has been of what he needed to do to please his audience. Unfortunately the album never honored what he said on WoW and I think that if Revival was a better album then WoW may be appreciated a bit more of it led into a good project

Aug 5, 2022 I like it. It’s just such a shame it ended up as the opener to one of his worst albums to date. “I’m terrified to let you down” proceeds to let everyone down Oh well. Got some gems out of it at least which is all I can really ask for at this stage in his career.
Aug 5, 2022 3.AM so good. Been a while since I heard it, video is top tier too. His vivid writing back then was impressive, along with DeJa Vu. Really paints a picture with his words. Something that he has lacked since, with how technical he has got since MMLP2.
Aug 5, 2022 I don’t see a point in getting actually upset that he released another compilation. We got 3 new songs out of it. I’ll take it. he doesn’t really owe us anything at this point. I’m grateful he’s still trying
Aug 5, 2022 This is going to sound like the ultimate Stan type of post, but: I always frown when people talk about Em as a story telling artist and all they can come up with is Stan. I mean, obviously that's his #1 story telling song, but he has so many and he is one of the few artists that manages to s--- you into the story and puts the listener right there on the scene. When you listen to these songs with headphones on, you can picture everything he's describing. Like: How is anyone going to tell me you can't picture the whole scene in your mind.
