One of them definitely was supposed to be an intro to Relapse

I don't follow 50 like that, but I believe he did say that. I don't know, their best collabs are from 02-03 anyway.

But I bet Em could have found something better than King and I and Is This Love for the "new tracks"

I'm not "saying" anything because I, and none of us, don't know. All I know is what we heard s--- like that b.o.b. collab, oh no? (which sound like relapse style too) which weren't really good either.

I thought is this love was fine, agree not better than most of Relapse, but just because he recorded many more songs doesn't mean they are automatically good lol.. I'm honestly not interested in more arabic songs about raping women TBH

I didn't say that they sounded like Recovery, I said that they were recorded during the sessions where his style started to change. Those Refill tracks were made early in the Hawaii sessions of 2009, and towards the end of those he recorded So Bad, Ridaz & On Fire which were the beginning of the transition. The point being that they were not meant for the "real" or "original" R2, but for an early version of the "reworked" R2, which eventually became Recovery.

I could see that being the case for Buffalo Bill, since it's the one that sounds the closest to Relapse's sound and rapping style. I don't think that is true for the others though.

I think both are from the "King Mathers" era, but it's hard to be sure.

CWYWF probably is at least. In it he says “Eight years later I’m still at it” : 1999-2007

Okay... but, all those tracks vs. say Ridaz sound worlds apart to me.

Like, they all have that nasally Relapse tone and totally different writing style

Is This Love is one of my favorite Eminem songs from this new Era. I wish we got more of this.
