Nov 11, 2022 Yeah ultimately I ended up a little disappointed in Donald’s societal commentary/political views, they seemed to devolve as the series went on or became pretty half baked. As a show though I think it was great.

Nov 11, 2022 In another time or place we could have gotten a straightforward dramedy with a-to-b plot lines and a neat little bow at the end. I think the “Twin Peaks with rappers” sentiment was still at play in the end. It isn’t what it means, it’s how it makes you feel.
Nov 11, 2022 I mean yeah but there are definitely some pretty straight forward messages too, living in the moment and valuing relationships over money and society’s “big picture” is the clear *major* message, and it’s still fun to think about what else they might have been trying to do/convey because it’s clear they put a lot of thought into this and had it planned from day 1
