And those are a lot more of an indication to what he’s doing now. this is inline with the earlier Side B era stuff like EPMD2

Jun 17, 2024 Interesting to hear people say this was supposedly recorded relatively recently. Based on LL's recent interviews, I assumed this was recorded around 2014-ish. It was a bit much for me at first, but some of Em's parts have grew on me, specifically the way he starts his first verse ("I can't understand a single word you're saying, I think you have syrup brain, Bout to finish you like polyurethane") and the way he starts that verse mid-song when he goes "Unapologetic and I'll prolly cause a headache" Either way, I expect TDOSS to sound nothing like this. I'm extremely cheah amped for TDOSS based upon the sound of "Doomsday Pt 2" and "Houdini." Post-'Recovery,' I've continually been hoping against hope he'd slow down and idk man like "Doomsday Part 2" is one of my absolute fav tracks ever for that specific reason. Jun 19, 2024 I'm glad I've heard it but it's not getting anything more than 2 or 4 spins and I'll def be done with it after the first hour or so of hearing it. I like the back and forth. I don't like the flow. LL seems decent but I didn't pay too much attention to the lyrics. It reminds me of a combination of BME and Calm Down with Busta.
Jun 19, 2024 Dude that old snippet was so misleading, why is Murdergram sooo much better than Houdini? And it's not even my favorite, I can totally see why they scrapped it. But Em needs to learn how to drop mixtapes with more content and collabs like this so we can still eat between albums I'd say it's at least a 6.5 of of 10, I don't think it deserved to be completely binned
Jun 20, 2024 Bc he's obviously been working on it a while. Luis Resto, who's obviously involved in production with this s---, said he's been working on s--- for this since 2021. Then you have the 'Em vs. Shady' superbowl ad in 2022, the Shady death merch in late 2022... so he's obviously had this concept n been working on music for ages. Sounds like another MMLP2 / Revival scenario aka his two worst in consistency bc both have multiple styles n sounds, bc they got tracks years apart n s---; hopefully this isn't another situation like that. Bc now I'm thinking he's gonna have s--- which sounds like that with recent s--- and it'll all sound f----- up mashed up styles. Let's see.
