Jul 12, 2024 ALSO I remember watching DEHH review MMLP again and they said alot of the controversy s--- didn’t sound right to them either back in the day when it first dropped but the album sounded good sonically so they didn’t care lmao Which I feel like is a good example for this album too which I think was the target he was tryna hit in my unexpert opinion lmao

Jul 12, 2024 I like the album but I get what you mean. It misses that rhythmic and smooth flow and you can't bop to most of the numbers because there are a lot of flow and beat switches. Houdini is one of the exceptions that keeps the same style, beat and flow. Still a great record though. If you hoped for more or Houdini style then it doesn't fit expectations I guess.

Jul 12, 2024 Yeah it's almost like one giant verse. I'm glad he finally realised he needs to sound very similar on all tracks for it to work, like MMLP. This album actually feels like the real MMLP2. MMLP3 probably woulda been a better title.
