Jul 12, 2024 This one feels a bit different to me as in there aren’t any love song attempts or Ed Sheeran feats. Whole album feels more consistent. I’ve still only been through it twice so maybe I think differently on reflection but for now I am enjoying it and can see me placing it above MTBMB in the long run

Jul 12, 2024 Okay I gave it a 2nd full listen at work today and here's my thoughts First off, it feels incomplete, like there should be more to the concept or the album. It doesn't feel fulfilling in a way? After a couple full listens and a couple of extra spins on some tracks, to me it feels I've heard all that's there to be heard - not saying it doesn't have replay value as of right now but it just feels like there's not a lot of depth to the album in a way? I still feel this is on the weaker side of Em's discog (excluding the beats, beats are fire)
Jul 12, 2024 didn't wanna speak too soon, but after like 4 listens, holy f---, this man really has created a modern classic idk how he's done it. the whole run is insane, although I can't see myself listening to the two sad tracks too often coz they seem way too personal and that s--- too sad

Jul 12, 2024 Took my time to digeset what probably could be considered his REAL 4th classic. He was so confident and he was right, Guilty Conscience 2 is out of this world, the connection between them (or theirs? hers?) is brilliant. Chapeau Marshall.
Jul 12, 2024 Of the 5 tracks I’ve listened to so far (over and over) it averages out to an 8. People say it drops off after GC2 but I think he just switches up the vibe and the people sayin that are only here for shady. So if it holds at an 8 then you gotta at least put it at #3 above relapse - because relapse had too many skips.

Jul 12, 2024 If you listen close enough he spliced in “Caitlin Jenner”. You can hear the difference in the vocal. It’s prob the same track recordings from 2004 he just edited that part.
