Jul 13, 2024 I kinda hate that it happens but that happens with pretty much every artist. Every new drop gets compared to their old s---.
Jul 13, 2024 Just had another full listen. I just want to say that this album is very unique in Em discography and I’m happy he was capable of making it work. Lot of people always blamed him for playing safe and trying to appeal to as much listeners as possible, but with this album he did the exact opposite
Jul 13, 2024 Album really getting better with each listen. And I gotta use every comment to praise JID. If only Em's latter part of the verse was the style throughout the entire verse. It's like Caterpillar, starts off fire and ends up with some random stuff. However stylistically, Caterpillar was consistent. His fuel verse shows different rhyme schemes, and that C-C-C stuff was top notch. That said the song is amazing. Still can't decide on favorites, until I start to remember them.
Jul 13, 2024 that audio clip at the beginning of somebody save me is f---ing gross. Adds so much. We only know as much as he wants to tell us, and it just adds so much validity I’m grateful he made it through that period. Grateful for em
Jul 13, 2024 It’s an audio clip of Alaina trying to wake him up to go eat, but he’s all tired and druggy and just asks her to shut the door
Jul 13, 2024 My current Top 5: Evil Fuel GC2 Antichrist Temporary (I’m surprised I like Skylar on it)
Jul 13, 2024 Sky and Biz are the best features. He needs to go back to working with artists he has chemisry with not White Gold and Ezra Miller.
Jul 13, 2024 The whole ‘concept’ / story of this album is poorly implemented. Undermines everyone’s argument that the over the top midget, Chris Reeeves, and anti-woke bashing is part of the concept. I can’t get into this album. I’ve put a few tracks in my Eminem playlist and doubt I’ll listen back to the rest much more. Eminem is washed. Thank god for ‘99-‘10 period. The good times.
