If its subject matters is, one can argue Revival is one of the most creative albums of all time for talking about abortion, brutality against blacks, drug use, raising daughter, overdose, being "bad husband", USA politics and election, a serial killer song, and self humbling song "walk on water". Yet every soul hating it until tommorow So stfu boi.. this album had creative flows, creative punchlines, creative hook. Some replies here raise my blood pressure. Jul 13, 2024 I think it's been set like an indisputable standard or a myth that his first 3 albums can be the only classics or masterpieces, so much that even people who clearly never listened to eminem say "he was never good again after his first 3 albums". Relapse and Recovery always came right after. death of slim is going to be fighting with Recovery for that 5th spot imo
Jul 13, 2024 There’s a chance this could be sleep deprivation talking and my disclaimer is I just keep listening to the same 5 songs off the album so far. Every one of these 5 songs has grown on me the more I listen and my first impressions on all of them were also high. There’s this “thing” all of these tracks have that nothing on m2bmb had even tho I love that album and have played it through many times with minimal skips. Renaissance 8/10 Habits 9/10 GC2 9/10 Tobey 9/10 Abracadabra 9/10 (Only reason I don’t give it a ten is I deduct a point for it being too gimmicky.
