Jul 14, 2024 sorry imma fire off some quick opinions since i logged in for the first time in a couple years 1. RENAISSANCE 2. ANTICHRIST 3. LUCIFER 4. GUILTY CONSCIENCE 2 5. FUEL 6. HABITS 7. EVIL 8. HOUDINI 9. HEAD HONCHO 10. SOMEBODY SAVE ME 11. TOBEY 12. TROUBLE 13. TEMPORARY 14. BAD ONE 15. BRAND NEW DANCE 16. ROAD RAGE I don't really think theres any large fall off between quality aside from Road Rage being a bit.. toooooo focused on the subject matter as odd critique as that may be. Brand New Dance is in a weird place for me, because it absolutely slaps and has a great beat and flow to it.. but the Encore weaknesses are definitely in that track. Renaissance, Anti-Christ, Lucifer are incredible, GC2 a fantastic story telling track and could've easily been a straight forward non-groundbreaking sequel using the originals formula. (Antichrist hook is so d--- catchy) Fuel is fire, JID and Em rip that beat. Surprised to see people not f---ing with Habits online. If Renaissance didn't have me hooked off the hop, that song got me fully bought into it on my first listen. The rest I didn't mention are some great tracks. Head Honcho bangs, Houdini is catchy as h---. Somebody Save Me is a great send off, awesome f---ing sample.
Jul 14, 2024 Spoiler: Spoiler because politics I do agree it’s a tough one to enforce without being used for nefarious purposes, but that said most of our s--- (especially you guys in the US) is tracked, specifically with the Patriot Act so it’s not like all of that isn’t already weaponised. I guarantee that & more is utilised to blackmail politicians lol The p--- consumption from kids is a huge problem yeah, even just the basically softporn music videos & instagram posts etc. Unregulated internet access is so damaging, long screen times in general are too, & are creating an uptick in ADHD symptoms among the population. I agree that it should be a parents responsibility to monitor consumption, but we know that’s not always the case, whether intentionally or not, economic hardship can cause people to work long hours, not be there to see their children’s every move & so on, there’s also purposeful neglect. These lead to it being a society-wide problem, that’s when the state should be called into action in some form. Again, economic improvements, along with reducing work hours will all be a net positive to these circumstances. It’s been 100 years since the 40 hour work week was enacted, we’re 2x more productive than we were 50 years ago, & now most of our work is service work to make up for lost time, just a negative feedback loop of insanity, there’s a good book about this call “bs Jobs” by David Graeber. It’s tough because the idea of United States ideals is letting everything run amok, regardless of the already many contradictions already existing in law, that makes it hard for your people to accept any regulatory policies, just on principle, then also the party divide where one half won’t accept a policy merely on the basis of it being suggested by the political team they oppose. United States ideals need to adapt to the ever changing landscape of material reality, but they won’t. Without a fundamental overhaul of your political system from a grassroots democratic process, I can only see a continual decline sadly.
Jul 14, 2024 RT. Even if he did use AI to fix his pitch up a bit, he flowed and wrote those tracks. I don't think he used AI simply because he's always been great at throwing different inflections on his voice, but IF he did use AI. He used it tastefully, artistically and as a tool rather than a cheat.
Jul 14, 2024 I guess from my point of view, it’s because we wanna feel like Eminem still has that in him. If it was just AI assisted, it’s kind of like finding out a magicians secret. That the magic wasn’t real. d--- that’s low key a bar considering the whole theme of the first single.
