Jul 30, 2024 I don't think he was making a point about the writing itself. He just meant it was the biggest song on the planet at one point in time. Whether we like that song or not, it was everywhere. Like "Don't forget I wrote LTWYL, which was a smashing #1 hit worldwide".
Jul 30, 2024 Yeah, I'm not denying that. I remember that era vividly. But it's nothing special, despite it's massive success. Don't forget pop rap was huge then, Alex Da Kid beats were everywhere, Rihanna was popping. The formula was there, I just don't see it as being that impressive (and I love Recovery).
Jul 30, 2024 LTWYL and Temporary is tied for how bad the writing is on them songs. Especially when rest of the album has pretty much decent writing for the most part. None that stand out like them two songs anyways.
Jul 30, 2024 Also... one more thing. Most of us don't buy into the reverse tracklist order theory and, supposedly, Marshall killed Shady (even though I still have my doubts about that GC2 ending). BUT... In this new photoshoot, it's always Slim Shady the one that's about to k--- Marshall. Slim has Marshall tied up. Slim has the dynamite. Slim is driving. I don't know what to think really. I'm confused as f--- tbh.

Jul 30, 2024 To be honest in the beginning of the Complex video on that disclaimer it's Slim Shady who is saying about listening to the Tracklist in order, and also the reverse word on the promo before it. I think its safe to assume that this is sometime after Houdini and the Album kinda picks up after that..

Jul 30, 2024 I loved the “Face/off” Very hyper aware which I definitely enjoyed. I always wondered if Em just lived in his own world at one and had zero idea of what’s going on. Then, “Kamikaze” dropped and killed that assumption. And now with this it kind of confirms Em must have a burner account online. Lol And to all those YouTube videos on the “Reverse theory”, RIP Lmao
