Also I like how Sam Levinson actually let Hunter Schafer have input on the writing of Jules’s special episode between season 1 and 2 that explored her trans identity. I wish that happened more often because that was one of the better episodes of the show.

Aug 9, 2024 The Rue & Ali special is one of my favourite pieces of TV I’ve ever seen. It takes something special to have an hour long episode be one conversation & keep you engaged, shows you the character depth they’ve built.

Aug 9, 2024 Funny you mention that, I watched it about a week ago. I actually kinda liked it, I gave it a 7/10. I don’t care about tennis but the movie actually kept me engaged because the tennis is really just a tool for them to tell the story they’re really trying to tell. It was way better than I thought it would be. I thought all the actors did a great job
