Oct 9, 2024 So... where is Halloween merch? Knowing Em's team they will probably ship it for Christmas
Oct 9, 2024 Basically to summarize "I did attention seeking and now that I got all your money from my attention seeking, I don't really wanna attention seek, until next album"
Oct 9, 2024 I see it connects because it’s created by the same artist, who's revisiting his fictional character which was introduced on the album that had the original song. However, this time around the album focuses more on the personal impact that character had on him, which is why the follow-up to GC shifts its focus onto him personally. I get what you’re saying tho, I've seen some other people online stating the same thing. Tbf I expected and was almost certain him and Dre would be going back and forth again. What had me blown away tho, the moment I heard it was that, instead of Slim Shady and Dre trading verses, it was Slim Shady interacting with his own (guilty) conscience. If that make sense
Oct 9, 2024 It's cray how much Em has lost his... aura. Like, I don't even feel excited about another album, I don't really care either way. d---. Seemed to come out of nowhere too, bc I do remember being excited when Side A dropped, Kami too... he still kind of had the aura of excitement. He mad kinda sparked it with 'Houdini' again, and then the album for like 1 week, but, now it's just like... 'meh'.
Oct 9, 2024 According to Royce "Marshall was all on board to do a song with Post Malone but one day me & him in the lab & Marshall sees a article of Post saying [I hate being called a Rapper, I used HH as a springboard to make I love which isn't Rap] Marshall called Paul to pull the plug Smart move. Post has been kinda mid the last few years and I agree it started around when that comment was made. Even now, the whole southern country persona he has now is weird. And that taylor song wasn’t even a good pop song. Idk he just feels so different from 2017-2019 posty
Oct 9, 2024 Obviously. Tho I think TDOSS rivialing his MMLP2 era tbh. He Super popular with the youth now, and millennials are back. Not just Houdini & Fuel being super viral… but Eminem name and presence is back in pop culture in 2024. When all is said and done this will be another peak.
Oct 9, 2024 Fairweather fan? What an absurd thing to say. I've listened to him religiously since 1999 when I first heard him, grew up on him and his music has been a part of every stage of my life... Highs and lows, and I could write a book on his writing. It's just called being honest with exactly how I'm feeling. And others are too right now. Pleb.
Oct 9, 2024 Yeah plus it's the whole devil / angel on the shoulder thing. Like gc1. That's exactly what gc2 is just with him v shady.
