Dec 1, 2024 at 4:07 PM I’ve seen so many videos and podcasts of people debating if Kendrick really kicked Drake out of the culture. I know it’s a joke, but I never seen such a one sided conversation. Like Drake is taking the biggest L I’ve ever seen. Sure it’s amplify by the internet but his reputation is forever tainted
Dec 1, 2024 at 11:19 PM People probably see me as Kendrick glazer but I do actually have some criticism. I like man at the garden but sometimes it is just boring to me and I wanna skip it. Without that crescendo near the end of the song it would be pretty boring and repetitive. The gnx song is cool but it is also another weak point on the album as most of the song doesn’t even have Kendrick in it. While I do really like hey now and peekaboo I can see those songs getting very annoying if you listen to them too much. I still think the album is an 8/10 but these things are reasons why I can’t give it 9/10 and definitely not a 10/10. I don’t blame some reviews I’ve seen giving the album a 6 or a 7, I understand it.
Dec 1, 2024 at 11:38 PM I agree. It’s so boring, but the end when the energy builds is the best part of the song. Could have just cut the song and made the last 15 seconds the whole track as an interlude Like that go so hard transitioning into Hey Now TELL ME WHY YOU DESERVE THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME MOTHER f---er… and then the beat drops into Hey Now Bass.
Dec 2, 2024 at 8:47 PM This is a good record, but not Kendrick's best work. That's less of a statement of the quality of the album, and more a reflection of the strength of his previous material. My favourite tracks are Reincarnated, Heart pt 6 and Gloria.
Dec 3, 2024 at 4:46 PM Doing a Stadium Tour with SZA, In Toronto…. Bruh the overkill this Diss has done to Drake. I legit never seen this before Dropped a Super Bowl on him wasn’t enough. Literally every line of his from the disses are coming true. What’s next? The Embassy gets raided?! Lol
