Dec 7, 2024 Sint (Saint) A dutch horror movie about the (dutch) holiday tradition 'Sinterklaas'. A tradition that slowly gets erased by the woke police by the way. Sinterklaas and his helpers (black peters) usually brings gifts to children who put up their shoes near the chimney on december 5th. Similar to Santa Clause, but naughty kids will be taken to Spain. However in this movie Sinterklaas is evil and he abducts and kills children, every time december 5th is on a full moon. The movie borrows a lot from Halloween and yeah its a nice slasher. d-ck Maas is also a great director so no surprise. The movie is from 2008, 100% it could't have been made this way in 2024 lmao. Thats why I love it! 7.5/10
Dec 7, 2024 Tarot (2024) So a lot of movies some creepy s--- happens and its never really explained. Like, 2 movies in we still have no idea whats the story behind the creepy Smile demon. Not that it always needs an explanation though. But Tarot actually has a (back)story. The reviews for this were pretty bad, but Netflix called it a combination of Final Destination and Talk To Me. I can kinda see that. It has the supernatural spooky stuff from T2M, and the mysterious deaths in order that FD movies have. Its a solid movie. Not that great, but not as bad as the reviews say. If you don't go in with high expectations and just want an okay horror movie, its worth checking out! 6.7/10
