Dec 3, 2024 expecting a 2nd album next year leaning into/building on/concluding the tdoss concept, that’s what he’s been doing consistently since the comeback
Dec 3, 2024 hope a new album in the style of his Fuel Remix verse with the same voice! I hope it a foreshadowing his next album like Chloroseptic Remix for Kami.
Dec 3, 2024 Kinda like The Eminem Show 2! I always wondered if he could make another song just like Superman. Probably the most commercial and best hook he ever made. I think it would work with today’s sound of rap too.
Dec 3, 2024 His mom just died, I bet she looking up on him rn. Hoping for Em to spiral like Kanye and do 7 albums for the different stages of grief ending with ”Debbie”
Dec 5, 2024 If the foreshadowing thing is true then we could be getting Recovery 2 next (or at least the spiritual successor like TDOSS was to SSLP)
Dec 6, 2024 Yeah, a return to more poppy/upbeat sound. It won't be another Slim Shady album like Kamikaze, MTBMB and TDOSS has been. It'll be more like Recovery or TES.
Dec 6, 2024 If you divide Eminem's career with Curtain Call: The Hits and Curtain Call 2. Two phases. Each phase has one Slim Shady album (SSLP, Relapse), One Eminem Album (TES, Recovery), One Marshall Mathers album (MMLP, MMLP2). I think Revival spawned a whole side quest for him to find himself artistically (Kamikaze, MTBMB. Otherwise, after Revival, we would've got a Curtain Call with the hits from Relapse, Recovery, MMLP2 and Revival (Shady album, Eminem album, MMLP album, and an album to sign off the era). But Revival failed so he waited until the right time to drop CC2, finish off an era that started with Relapse. Right after a break, he returned with a Slim Shady themed album (TDOSS) so the next one is gonna be either MMLP3 (which could be his self titled album) or an album like Infinite/Recovery/TES.
Dec 7, 2024 MMLP 3 next March. Lead Single “The Fake Slim Shady” “The Death of Stan” is the opening track it sounds like Bad Guy but has Billie Eilish as the vocalist.
Dec 7, 2024 I find it highly improbable that Slim Shady is dead. The only question in my mind is whether the next album brings him back, or if Eminem attempts to do something else first before retreating to familiar ground. There is no Eminem without Slim, which was glaringly obvious in TDOSS.
