Jan 4, 2025 at 6:40 PM You can tell back then he wanted to make songs people would enjoy and keep on replay. During Relapse also, but the content wasn’t for everyone.
Jan 4, 2025 at 9:06 PM That’s cuz it’s Eminem. All his albums are quality. Except revival. You know I’m right. Recovery is literally one of his most successful albums. And it’s way more critically and commercially relevant than relapse. Lmfao the point of my original post. You can’t refute my facts, cuz it destroys your entire argument
Jan 4, 2025 at 9:07 PM Posting facts! Y’all really think people are bumping Stay wide awake on a daily basis over Love the way you lie?
Jan 5, 2025 at 3:21 AM No one is disputing if Recovery was more successful, but that has no bearing if the album was better or not than an album that was not as successful. Everyone can read figures and numbers so you don’t need to keep going on about Recovery’s success. Encore was bigger and more successful than all his albums since 2009, doesn’t mean it’s a better album than any of them.
Jan 5, 2025 at 6:49 AM I think relapse was for his die hard (shady) fans. Recovery for a bigger audience obviously and a new generation that liked generic songs
Jan 5, 2025 at 8:31 AM Yeah but Relapse also had great beats and catchy hooks, it just the lyrics were, special
