Jan 17, 2025 Initially comprising of leftovers from Relapse, Eminem would work on Relapse 2. Eminem, Mr. Porter & Dr. Dre would fly out to Hawaii and work on Relapse 2. During these sessions Eminem would transition from using accents to using none at all. Dre would eventually leave to work on Detox. Eminem would return and work with Just Blaze. In October 2009, Eminem mentioned that Relapse 2 was done and just needed to be mixed. To hold the fans over, Eminem would re-release Relapse as "Relapse: Refill" with some bonus tracks. In March 2010, Just Blaze started working with Eminem again to mix Relapse 2, Eminem would also tease the track "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" featuring D12.
