Implying he didn't die, so I don't know what people's confusion is with that, it's like a classic s--- you're told not to do in school in English class lol, 'DON'T write 'it was all a dream', because it's an easy cop-out.

Feb 19, 2025 In retrospect, what DoSS showed is that Eminem is aware of his shortcomings but seemingly wants to do nothing to fix them. Slim Shady was right in a lot of his arguments with Eminem when he called Eminem a p----, a puppet, etc. It just shows that Eminem is aware of these things but does nothing to change it. Simply acknowledging your mistakes does not fix them.

The entire album builds up to GC2, portraying a battle between Eminem’s rational voice and Slim Shady, like the concept of guilty conscience. This conflict runs throughout the album and has its finale (coup de grace) on GC2. Paul’s reaction at the end portrays this, he knows Eminem truly said all those things himself, while Eminem believes it was just a dream. But in reality, it all unfolded within his own mind.
