Woke up to a new GELO song and s-----y Ed Sheeran single. Where’s Jermaine?
idk. Hopefully it’s not but I read the Raleigh city officials signed a deal for a new festival at the same location for the next four years.

They could put the festival on every year and build it up and make it bigger. Cole doesn’t have to headline every year! Get Rihanna there, Jay, Nas, Em, Kendrick, Drake, h--- even GELO (:')) and other big name artists @Uncle Luke

If it ain’t dreamville that signed for another 5 years, the next fest ain’t gon bring in hella revenue like dreamville did.. Raleigh got other festivals going on this weekend , but none of them are as big as dreamville. Dreamville fest be having local vendors , local art, and everything out there. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Raleigh city council and the nc government got together and asked cole then what they needed to do to keep the festival going lol

Looks that way. Why not just keep it as Dreamville Festival?? It’s already established and successful.

And it seems as DZL is heavily involved in the project. His beats seem more laid back, which is cool and they’re a good back drop for Cole…but I also hope for some harder hitting anthem style production like Mike Will, Vinylz, T-Minus and Boi1da…

Look up Melt Down by Travis Scott…Boi1da and Vinylz produced it. Imagine Cole on that beat

I was at the panels yesterday front and center and there was some information about TFO during DZL, T-Minus and Boi1da panels. I would say first things first that it doesn't seem, although no one said this directly, that It's A Boy is really a thing anymore. All implications are that TFO is next and supposedly imminent.

    DZL Panel:

The main takeaway from DZL panel is that he's been on the project for 4 years. He also revealed that the production team on the album consisted of himself, T-Minus, AzizTheShake, Wu10 and Cole. That's not to say there won't be any other producers or that Cole didn't make songs himself before these guys were involved. BUT. The main thing is that these guys were in the studio together collaborating and working as a production team on the album. They made MDL simultaneously in the same process. I don't believe that TOS was made this way because of the pandemic and Cole was just a few years into working with T-Minus.

In the video above DZL says that the album is Cole "in his bag" with top lyrical ability, top storytelling, no skips. You learn more about Cole as a man. Who he is as a father and husband etc. No skips implies that the tracklist is done. We know from Inevitable that Ib said they've had the tracklist mapped out the whole time.

    T-Minus Panel:

Minus recreated the beats for Kevin's Heart and Crocadile Tearz, which was really cool, and just talked generally about beatmaking and working with Cole. The big takeaway from Minus panel is that he LOVES collaboration. I think he was probably most responsible for steering Cole out of his comfort zone and into working with a team. He echoed what DZL said about who worked on the album, as well as what some of the processes were like. Sometimes all of them would be working on the same beat at the same time. They got into a flow and would just b--- em out assembly line style. Someone on the sample, someone on drums, etc. He said it was chaotic but they got some gold out of it. He used the expression, throw paint at the wall and see what sticks, multiple times. He also talked about the importance of not overthinking and just freely creating. So that speaks to the process as well. They were just going for it and keeping the best stuff.

    1da Panel:

Very little stuff about Cole. But he revealed that Cole reached out to him during TOS and asked for beats. He had never really asked him for beats before, so 1da cooked some up and sent them over. This included 95 South and Hunger on Hillside. B. Dot was moderating and asked him about this moment:

1da wouldn't spill the beans but said he was reacting to Cole's verses on one of his beats and that we'll hear it soon. Which basically confirms that 1da makes the album.
