    Cheaper + more comfortable. And the last couple of movies show it's a risk going to a DC/Marvel/Sony movie unless it's something dope like Spidey or Avengers.

    Superhero movies have been through the ringer (shoutout to you, slim) post covid, not shocked at all that they are going below expectations. Marvel and DC both have to build their trust back I’m afraid. Just hoping for a big renaissance with the start of the DCU and the timeline reset post-Secret Wars. Two comic accurate fun universes that feel like COMIC BOOKS happening at the same time would be phenomenal. It’s looking great for DC right now, Marvel just has to stick the landing with their plans for this reset after Secret Wars.

    When it comes to Doomsday and Secret Wars, I don’t mind the nostalgic characters coming back because let’s be honest, the multiverse saga was the best time to bring back these legacy characters. It makes sense, and makes the story go further. Do I wish they maybe saved the X-Men for Secret Wars? Yeah, maybe, but we haven’t seen how they’ll work in Doomsday yet so I can’t s--- on it. The same way I’m doubtful about Hulk in BND, but I can’t fully s--- on it yet because I don’t know the extent of his role.

    There’s a big difference between cameos and supporting role. Matt Murdock was a cameo in NWH, Tobey/Andrew were supporting roles. It seems the X-Men will be supporting roles in Doomsday, not cameos.

    It just sucks so bad that nobody can seem to pull off Doom correctly. I know I know, that sounds hypocritical because I just said the stuff about not knowing the extent of roles yet, but RDJ back as Doom and him being “the only one that can play this iteration” does not lead me to believe it will be the Doom that Marvel fans have been deserving to see on screen for DECADES now.

    Monkey paw situation. Avengers, X-Men, F4 all on screen for the first time EVER, but the over arching villain is a (more than likely) lazy, “get butts in seats” iteration of Doom

    True. I’m still in shocked. This like the first time I’ve ever seen marvel take a L to DC. It’s a mystery, like Jay Z thinking he could renegade me. Here we sit defeated, but Keep laughing Pricks. Cuz 2026 I’m coming back for revenge, RDJ better get his checks and go at these b------s with Avengence

    I feel like they bring back savage hulk in this for sure. That’s what fans have been wanting and if this is gonna be an “angrier” Spidey movie, why not literally have the superhero epitome of “angry”
