Aug 12, 2025 at 5:43 PM I don't know if it's still on YouTube or not but there is a making of the Just Lose It video and during the filming the scene where the old woman hits his with her handbag they talk before it and he says something to the effect of "I'm a very good boy" and it's the Slim Shady voice. To me the Slim Shady voice is him putting on an accent, speaking slower. In the studio it means he isn't drowned in reverb, it's a very dry vocal,it sounds like he's right up against the mic. Maybe they EQ the bass out his voice. I think that's the extent of the studio tricks. We've seen recent footage of his studio and his modern recordings sound like what we've seen, him rapping in a big room with a lot of natural reverb where he moves around and he's not near the microphone as much.

Just goes to show how much the game really damaged g unit. 2006 was the same summer game dropped the doctors advocate and wouldn't let up on g unit. Another album I wouldn't mind hearing is bishop Lamonts. He was so underrated

But In the last 2-3 years there's been concert footage of him sounding like he did on the eminem show and he clearly wasn't lip syncing. Like I swear eminem literally dumbed it down and put music in a vualt to literally rap forever. I seriously think he dumbed it down. Just so he could bounce back at any point . The leaks a few months ago that was a trip down memory lane. They weren't meant to be out supposedly. But it's like every time we think it's been over since encore . We get something some way some how
