Like the Gun Charge, he owned it on MMLP, but used it on TES to make him seem even more street and Gangsta. On MMLP he was just firing back on critics and media, TES he elevated that by making it even more personal to his fans, and made it so anyone who was against Em was against freedom of speech. Basically he just sculpted and refined MMLP.
Aug 16, 2025 at 10:31 AM This may be overdone to death, but imo enough time has passed since TDOSS to rank Eminem’s discography again. I’ve been enjoying it more than most, even if some topics are rehashed a bit. It’s not his best album, but certainly not his worst. The only standout misstep is Road Rage, which feels like a bunch of incompatible pieces put together. As I went though his work, it reminded me just how many solo albums he’s released over the years and just how awful Revival really was.
