Aug 26, 2025 at 4:02 AM Other than the fact that he quotes his Elton John performance which happened after MMLP release. So its between MMLP/TES. And this clears Drips, so not that much delusional in that take that it easily could replace that song.
Aug 26, 2025 at 4:06 AM Yeah, having the TES curtains in the background of the documentary, plus an unreleased TES cut, makes sense now.
Aug 26, 2025 at 4:16 AM Everybody lookin at me is definitively an Eminem Show left over but I believe some of the lyrics were from an earlier freestyle. Lyrics from around 2000 era and Em created it into a 2002 Era song
Aug 26, 2025 at 4:21 AM Yeah, I know, it also reminds me of Blow My Buzz. I prefer Drips and everything else on TES to this, though. This sounds more rawish like SSLP, MMLP, and Devil's Night. It didn't blow me away on first listen, but I'm grateful to hear it after all of these years and I like Em's voice, flow, and lyrics. Classic Em. Although it's not the TES classic Em. I think I need to listen to it more. The beat is a little bit monotonous. Not bad, though better than many beats of those modern rappers.
Aug 26, 2025 at 4:22 AM Check this out. A.I. s---. The first song is fire. "Going Crazy" got it on repeat:
Aug 26, 2025 at 4:33 AM It's odd that the Cee Lo song isn't on there. There might really be a second disc since there are more songs in the documentary.
Aug 26, 2025 at 4:33 AM Like I was saying. Early Em actually had 3 very distinct styles, TES is just considered his prime. But he was rapping diffrent on MMLP and SSLP. It’s all prime in my opinion. SSLP was more battle rap and in less then a year his flow got even crazier on MMLP, then the Next year the development was still increasing. You can hear the progress in real time. Then TES era is the best flow arguably ever. The spectrum he was on is actually quite wild considering how he was rapping in 97. 5 years and it really did feel like a new clone
Aug 26, 2025 at 4:40 AM Em's new s--- is still f---ing dope. Idc what anyone says. He still can make goat records. Even if he isn't as good as he once was he still has gems on every album
Aug 26, 2025 at 4:43 AM Godzilla and Houdini are certified bangers. So far it’s been a strong 2020’s. No bad album or singles. (Except the King and I and that Cordae Feature)
