Aug 26, 2025 at 2:44 PM No it wasn’t decided long in advance. They change s--- on the fly all the time. They did this same thing with Black Ops 6 and ended up deciding to carry forward anyway. The Avalon location in the Black Ops 7 campaign was originally going to be the Black Ops 6 Warzone map and you could even find Avalon in low detail when you went out of bounds in Black Ops 6 maps. They are also recycling the Liberty Falls zombies map from Black Ops 6 and making it a Warzone Resurgence map after Black Ops 7 launches. The final Black Ops 7 campaign mission was also changed in a whim very very recently. They are clearly not planning a lot of this s--- long in advance.
