Aug 26, 2025 at 5:07 PM One day he started replying to all of my posts with rap verses. At first I thought it was to annoy me or troll me but then eventually he started doing it to other users. I normally would just like the post and move on as I didn’t know how to respond or care to respond most of the time. A few people like it, a bit more hate it, but most are like me and just kinda ignore it. Whenever I see a new verse from him I don’t even read it. I see it as pretty harmless and skip past reading it almost automatically at this point. I can see why people would be annoyed by it though. When he’s making normal posts he’s tolerable.
Aug 26, 2025 at 5:14 PM Do you remember when I did my No Apologies analysis and one of the main things I pointed out that definitely proved it was a 2001 recording to me, was the fact when he produced certain words with the letter “P” in it you could sort of here it popping on the microphone as if he had no pop filter or was using a s-----y one? You hear it on multiple TES songs too. But you can also hear it on this song when he raps “I must prove I’m no punk, he’s punched through, it’s for uncle, I know you’re watchin’ Same thing happening again. Same microphone from that TES era. Just found that interesting. Are we certain Dre produced this btw? Sounds to me like a very early Eminem “self production” but I could be wrong. Also, we've long debated about his voice and flow gradually slowing down and becoming less sharper from MMLP onwards. Some of us speculated it was the drugs, or just him over working himself. But this song is clearly bridged right in the middle of MMLP and TES, and to me it seems like he was actually making a conscious decision to slow things down a little bit in order to get his point across. (Notice the intentional gaps he’s leaving in between his lines on this, That he never really did on MMLP) I think that’s what he intentionally wanted to do for “the next album” and obviously he did, with it being way more evident on songs like White America and Til I Collapse, where he had clearly mastered his “new direction” by then. I hope there’s more songs from this specific time in the vault. It’s like “The Kids” and “Our House” era, but pre-TES instead of pre-MMLP.
Aug 26, 2025 at 5:36 PM Didn’t No Apologies come from a freestyle? Or maybe he recorded it and used lines from it for a freestyle. The freestyle used to be part of that Freestyles bootleg that dropped a while ago.
Aug 26, 2025 at 5:38 PM No Apologies was performed as a freestyle twice it that also originates from 2001 so it's all going to sound similar.
Aug 26, 2025 at 5:41 PM Expect no sympathy from me I'm an MC, this is how I'm supposed to be Cold as a G, my heart's frozen, it don't even beat So expect no apologies
Aug 26, 2025 at 5:42 PM Like I always say, everyone should wear one and have a second one just in case
Aug 26, 2025 at 5:45 PM No Apologies wasn’t a “freestyle”. He had No Apologies recorded, but for whatever reason knew it wouldn’t be getting released, so decided to use some of the verses from the song on some radio “freestyles”. He did the exact same thing with ELAM, knowing it wasn’t getting a release.
Aug 26, 2025 at 6:00 PM Speaking of which, I guarantee the 2001 Rap City freestyle “High on? What'd you say, b----? What am I on? Two tubes of airplane glue and a can of Krylon” Is also a verse from a post-MMLP unreleased song from the vault.
Aug 26, 2025 at 6:02 PM From a business standpoint you gotta admit.. since Em is now obviously open to using old material - they gotta ration that s---. This is a generational ENTERPRISE.. They could potentially be using unreleased old Em mixed with new/AI from this point forward... Em truly probably “isn’t done” even with 25 year old records - Paul & label heads also know there’s an opportunity to literally drop unreleased recordings from say 2000 in f---ing 2050 - 2075 - 2100 & it WILL be streamed or whatever medium is used at that point. YOU & I will likely continue to reap the benefits for decades to come the longer they keep not giving us what we want. I’m in no way defending anyone or saying you shouldn’t be flabbergasted by Paul (THE MOVIE IS THE CRINGIEST THING IN HIS CAREER POTENTIALLY) BUT I understand what’s going on here..
Aug 26, 2025 at 6:05 PM Just bought this, there's only 150 copies of it. Expensive af but finally I have the goats signature!
Aug 26, 2025 at 6:57 PM supposedly she said in an interview in '02 that she worked on a track with Em and for reasons I can't explain, people believe it was "Somebody's Watching me" (or rather "Lights, Camera, Action" or whatever it was called by people before it released)
