Aug 28, 2025 at 8:57 PM I watched the documentary. Would’ve much preferred a version of Stans without the featured Stans — just Em, Carson, Dre, and Jimmy. But still, cool that they took the time to put this together. Enjoyed it for what it was.
Aug 28, 2025 at 9:09 PM Eh, not really. Shady records is Eminem’s signed artist and his projects like soundtracks and various other collabs. Aftermath is who Eminem released his studio albums as subsidiaries under Interscope & UMG. studio albums and Greatest hits like curtain calls are under aftermath and Shady records jointly technically. But Eminem stuff like Stan’s soundtrack, D12, ect. Are only under Shady records. I know it sounds confusing but basically everything but D12, soundtracks and Eminem’s artists are under aftermath. The later are under shady records
Aug 29, 2025 at 8:03 AM Great to finally have the Kiss skit song after all these years. Prime era Em, and a legendary lost track. Can't help wondering what the implications are about the Proof/D12 rumours beforehand. If the rights to Proof's music have been cleared up, and songs were pulled from this, maybe there is now a grander plan in mind for that material. I could see Em getting involved in that.
Aug 29, 2025 at 8:43 AM samples not cleared in time, nothing else. They haven’t even announced the CDs yet. Might add them in 6 months lol
Aug 29, 2025 at 9:55 AM After a few listens, anyone not grateful for the official release of Everybody’s Looking At Me needs to take a step back and do some serious reassessment. The Foolish Pride flip at the end of the second verse is enough in and of itself… While a throwaway from the perspective of the awesome heights of The Eminem Show, this record is fantastic. I love JID, but I’d take this record over that JID feature any day of the week and twice on Sundays. This is a gift.
Aug 29, 2025 at 1:15 PM True. We dont know how many unreleased d12 songs exist. For all we know there's enough fot a album. With maybe 1 or 2 new recorded songs
Aug 29, 2025 at 1:39 PM Hundreds if not a thousand. D12 were recording like crazy in the early 00's to mid 00's. Not much came out.
Aug 29, 2025 at 2:11 PM so im watching this finally and actually locking in and it plays this old comedy thing about the word f--- that I used to listen to waaay f---in back in the day, I even cut it all up and edited it and made .wav files and used them as the computer notification noises... kind of weird to me
Aug 29, 2025 at 6:59 PM wow. I never knew that. look at me stanning hard-core thinking he thought that skit was hilarious also... ive made him even chuckle from afar at a concert by screaming f--- icp to him during silence when he was talking s--- about Moby at the anger management tour in tampa... I know this because he slightly chuckled, and said yeah, f--- icp too. ive said this story on here before im sure... i should of been in this documentary, I even bleached my hair way back... the fack video should have been in it at the very least... I fell asleep about half way through, going to move forward now... be interesting to have another doc to go more in depth about the leaks back then and now, if just his. whenever they get that cracking I need a f---in call. I even initially hated him, couldn't stand my name is. then I heard guilty conscience and it was a wrap from there.
Aug 30, 2025 at 12:47 AM In 10 years, you’ll be glad that you weren’t depicted as a Stan in this. I’m a huge Eminem fan, but the consistent theme of these people making, like, pilgrimages to where dude lived, worked, etc., I’ve always found to be totally bizarre and have never been able to wrap my head around. I think Eminem even said as much in the doc.
Aug 30, 2025 at 7:52 AM thats real lol because yea im a huge fan but I wouldnt camp out somewhere to dig a napkin out of the trash or smell a stall he walked out of like most "stans" persay would. I don't think anyone here was ever that stanny, were there?
Aug 30, 2025 at 9:02 AM I had tears in my eyes after 23 years of guessing how the full song would sound. Prime Em was untouchable. The voice, the flow, the cadence..... just perfect.
Aug 30, 2025 at 9:33 AM Couldn’t you afford to go watch it on opening night like the rest of us true fans?
Aug 30, 2025 at 10:16 AM Pathetic. You and your 12 family members all living in the same 2 bedroom house claiming numerous amounts of benefits/universal credit and you can’t even spare 15 quid to get off your a--- and go see your favourite rappers’ film. Disappointed in you.
