Originally, I said that due to the announcement of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl releasing in October, but this past week she recently celebrated being engaged to one of the NFL’s current superstars, Travis Kelce. We all know who I’m talking about, so let me not beat around the bush anymore. My pick is… folklore by Taylor Swift folklore is one of two albums that Taylor released during the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020, and was very different from the rest of her discography at the time. I truly believe, no matter how you feel about Taylor, that this project has at least SOMETHING for you. There’s even a story/concept to this project that I won’t spoil for those who have never listened before. Out of all the albums in Taylor’s discography, this one is definitely my favorite. I hope you guys all enjoy this album as much as I do! Also fitting that I pick this album in August, on the last weekend as well!
