Sep 2, 2025 at 5:41 PM Need Nas again and Luda. Ice Cube is too washed. Raekwon also, some type of Wu and Em collab
Sep 2, 2025 at 5:43 PM As I've speculated before I think the Foolish Pride backlash was a major factor leading to his addiction and fall-off as well. Being exposed as a racist in the eyes of so many blacks must have hugely impacted his self-image. Add to that his own conviction that his "internal fire" would die out by 30. This is why he started rapping in goofy foreign accents on Encore, and when he did rap in a blaccent he had a tendency to overcompensate by sounding a bit too wiggery, up until Relapse when he finally dropped the blaccent almost completely in favor of the accents. Only recently has he regained the confidence to "rap black" again. Part of this is due to the validation he got from Snoop etc in the face of attacks from less credible race card playing black critics like Jamar. But also the "AI Shady" persona gives him the creative license/excuse to rap more like his more confident and wiggery younger self. And somehow it works. The best parts of Death of Slim by far are the "AI" parts.
Sep 2, 2025 at 6:05 PM What made him a hermit and an unsociable person was precisely the fact that he became sober. He cut off communication with all the junkies like cashis and since then he doesn't know where to go. Either yell like on Recovery, or play on the nostalgia of MMLP2, etc.

Sep 2, 2025 at 7:00 PM I’m fine with nostalgia. He hasn’t yelled like a maniac since MMLP2. Have to take some of those Mouth spray to keep his vocal chords from drying out
