Sep 5, 2025 at 10:42 PM @AOTWClub upgraded my phone last night and forgot to tally I'll do the tragically hip one here in a bit im just at work so sometime between now and 7 am eastern lol
Sep 5, 2025 at 11:30 PM I still need to listen to it lmao, I'll try and get to it tomorrow for sure. I don't find Taylor particularly attractive or ugly so my hate or praise will only come from the music
Sep 6, 2025 at 12:20 AM Bro I get so confused seeing J Pop or K Pop fans cause there's no soul behind 99.9% of it, it's so uncomfortable. Things having so much corporate polish that it's devoid of any meaningful features is something that's so garish in any form of art and I don't get how people love the slop lmao
Sep 6, 2025 at 11:17 AM I like a few K Pop songs don't get me wrong but I think the majority if it doesn't even sound good in the first place let alone the whole industry surrounding it being evil lol
Sep 6, 2025 at 3:13 PM Taylor Swift - Folklore I usually start these reviews off by stating my previous opinion/knowledge on the artist. And by this point, I think it's near impossible for anybody to not have an opinion on Taylor Swift right now. There are a lot of people that absolutely despise Taylor's image and her music. Personally though, I'm not a Taylor hater by any means. I liked1989 quite a bit, and there are some songs off of albums like Red that I do like. But I've never really "gotten" her, y'know? It feels like there's a disconnect between my pretty lukewarm view on Taylor and the tremendous praise that she gets from most publications I do remember the release of Folklore pretty well though. I do think that labeling it as a surprise album isn't really accurate since it was announced the day before (for me, a surprise release literally comes out of nowhere like Kamikaze or GNX), but I remember being intrigued by the album. A cool aesthetic, and a Bon Iver feature? Cool! Admittedly, I didn't get around to it, but I figured that the next Taylor album I would ever check out would probably be this one. And thanks to Diggle, I got to dive into it. Now, this might seem like a bit of a letdown after the first two paragraphs, but I thought Folklore was fine. Which is odd, since it has lots of things going for it. Taylor's voice is pretty good, the production is pretty good as well, the lyrics were pretty interesting, etc. But similar to a lot of Taylor's work, I just didn't connect with it. "Invisible String" is probably my favorite song on here, and even then, it isn't like I loved it. Like, I can recognize that these are very well made songs, but I probably wouldn't return to this album that frequently. I know this review might seem negative, but it's just not my thing. I am glad that I finally checked it out though. Might go back and give Red a try someday. Still, big thanks to @DiggleDogg69 for the pick, and yeah Favorites: Invisible String Rating: 6/10 @AOTWClub @Justin Trudeau
Sep 6, 2025 at 3:58 PM I remember haters calling it boring but I think it's her best and a nice change in her sound.

Sep 6, 2025 at 7:35 PM Wouldn't want you to expand your music knowledge or anything lol maybe open your mind up to other s---. Be funny to see you critique solid albums cause they're not chalked with "hits"
Sep 6, 2025 at 7:36 PM I review albums I give a s--- about. If I don’t care bout the artist, I won’t even listen. I’m a simple guy. That’s why I consider singles to be so important. That’s the introduction to the album.
Sep 6, 2025 at 7:44 PM You can gain new artists you like by checking out albums and not assuming the single defines the album lol
