Aug 26, 2025 I never really cared for Resident evil. It was always big growing up but I just never got into it. Played 2 or 3 of them but never got the hype. I was heavy into Call of Duty modern Warfare. The original. Gen Z don’t know about that. And black ops of course, but I fell off after they kept remaking the same s--- every year. most franchise games kinda s--- nowadays. Like Madden use to be the s--- 20 years ago. Now you won’t catch me playing that s---. AC had its highs and lows but use to be one of my favorites since it changed open world games. GTA 6 is probably the next game I’ll shelve over $70 for on release date. 5 is still arguably the biggest game ever. I don’t play Fortnite. (Unless I’m with your Grandma) @Ripper Roo let me see. Nothing else looks good this year. Last game I played was Mafia which was great. Oh and Ghost 2 looks good so I might buy that opening week

Aug 26, 2025 I read a report that Gen Z really are losing attention spans. And not even being funny, but it’s proven that screen time affects brain muscles where they literally can’t focus on extended tasks. And it’s more than just OCD, but it’s a global phenomenon happening. Concentration is depleting due to TikTok and phone screen time. When I was coming up it was said don’t be too close when watching the TV box. But now it’s worse, cuz you can see first hand the youth and young adult can’t focus on long movies or videos on YouTube. Everything has to be short and fast instant gratification.

A friend got me to try out the beta earlier in September and it was actually pretty fun especially considering I thought it would be mediocre af and was reluctant to even try it. Lowkey seems better than the new Mario Kart at least
