Sep 23, 2025 at 12:59 PM I say definitely real. The uploader is clickbaiting though, since this isn't new-new. It leaked at the same time or shortly after SFTL3. The outro (at least most of it) is an even older leak, first uploaded by Dope Strange. edit: The intro and outro are real anyway. Not sure about the new parts in the beat.

I guess he didn't think to add it until later, for the live intro. There's no excuse for not including it in the MMLP anniversary edition though.

Sep 23, 2025 at 2:17 PM It's a new mix someone has made of the song, I'm not sure about some of the new instrument parts but a lot of it is genuine. They are from the stems of the song where the strings and guitar and some percussion are isolated. Pretty cool to listen to and there is various versions of this song in the stems
Sep 23, 2025 at 2:31 PM It would be amazing to find out what was changed in the version we got. If he was working on songs with Eminem was he allowed to keep copies of the songs? Are there any changes he remembers from songs he worked on. We know later on Eminem likes to record multiple verses and hooks for some songs but was that the case back then?
Sep 23, 2025 at 3:30 PM im listening to elam out of better quality headphones for the first time and I hear like a noise in the background that would happen sometimes when I burned cds and had to much s--- going on on the computer while doing it, slight crackles... anyone else hesrd this? hate it. @Big Monkey tagging you because if youve heard that noise in the apple music version youve likely tried to smooth that out of it or something perhaps
Sep 23, 2025 at 4:56 PM I noticed that too. I figure it was added to give the beat a grimier quality. I actually like it. Better yet I might just add the car engine from the Kiss skit to all the verses for an even grimier sound.
Sep 23, 2025 at 10:05 PM One thing I've realized with the whole Old Em vs New Em is that a good amount of new Em bars just... don't hit when he finishes them? Like I was listening to Moon Man & Slim and so many bars just feel like they fall flat, whereas almost everything in his peak albums just connects and hits really well. Like "Toll-free number, only way you'll ever have a hot line" reminds me of that "uhh, okay?" meme But you go back and listen to his older s--- and he's way more slick with it and it lands perfectly everytime
Sep 24, 2025 at 12:22 AM 22 years ago today obie trice dropped cheers. Not only did I feel like this was the best posse cut ever. I felt it to be better than grodt. Obie got swept under the rug. And I think his singles had a lot to do with it "got some teeth" although a funny song. He got labeled as like a comedian rapper for it.
