There's just such a difference between that and his technical lyrical miracle stuff that he still forces into most songs.

I don’t think Eminem is done with The Death of Slim Shady yet. Imagine if Slim actually released all those unreleased tracks that leaked a few months back. On this next album—or maybe a follow-up—we could finally get the truth: all the news stories and rumors we’ve seen were fake, and the person who really leaked those songs was Slim Shady himself.

Here’s where it gets really interesting: The Death of Slim Shady seems to be inspired by the 1991–1993 Superman comic series—the three-part arc of The Death of Superman, The World Without Superman, and The Return of Superman. If Em is following that blueprint, then The Death of Slim Shady is just Part 1. We could be heading for a second album showing a world without Slim, followed by a “return” project where he comes back harder than ever.

I even saw an interview with Paul where he mentioned that a lot of unreleased Em music is coming this year. Maybe this is the strategy—Shady intentionally leaking songs, then officially dropping them as part of a larger narrative. Maybe the last leak even threw a wrench in the plan. It sounds wild, but if this is the rollout, it’s genius.

It’s also possible that Paul and Eminem’s team orchestrated the whole story, perhaps with Joseph Strange—the supposed leaker and former Em engineer—involved. I thought that, too, but there is a recording of Joe Strange in court, and the songs that leaked are very controversial and weren't meant for public.
There's also the fact that those songs were used for other songs, so it doesn't make sense. But it would be cool if it had been like that.
