    Just saw this, LOL. I'm a "she" yet you're the one deleted your own picture in the pics thread recently, not to mention your post confessing to being a midget after being roundly ridiculed:

    Clearly you're very insecure about your appearance and what strangers on the internet think of you. What kind of a man is so uncomfortable in his own shoes? Keep hiding from me in this irrelevant thread and being afraid to tag me, p----.

    "Irrelevant thread" when it's the only non eminem related thread to have a pulse is funny

    Saba - CARE FOR ME

    Favorites:
    LIFE, CALLIGRAPHY, FIGHTER

    RIPPER ROO’S RATING: 9/10

    This album is so great. It’s exactly the kind of music I needed right now, I’m on this type of timing too. I appreciate and relate to the themes of depression and loneliness throughout. It’s so interesting too to listen to this while I’ve done a lot of major healing this year, so in a way I can look at depressing songs through a bit of a different perspective. Now I can listen to that sort of thing without completely losing myself in it.

    Saba’s rapping style is very versatile. He can go from more melodic rapping to more lyrically passionate with storytelling. I’ve listened to him before but this time around I got a lot of Kendrick Lamar vibes which I love. The beats complement his rapping really well in a way that it feels the beats were made just for him. The beat and mood switches work nicely.

    That 3 song run of LIFE, CALLIGRAPHY, and FIGHTER is the best part of the album to me. That’s when the album really pulled me in. Overall this is an amazing album with not a lot to complain about @AOTWClub

    @AOTWClub @Jimmy Jazz

    I'm familiar with PUP cause they're exactly my comfort zone in terms of musical stylings and heard a decent chunk of this record but was happy to finally give it multiple full listens and it didn't disappoint!

    I'm gonna keep this relatively short, all the instrumentation is great, all the riffs are f---ing killer and as i expect from the genre the dumming is great. The singers voice is pitch perfect for the sound. The writing is some of my favorite I've heard in a while, especially in songs like Free At Last, Scorpion Hill, and Full Blown Meltdown. I've always been a sucker for simultaneously upbeat and melancholic songs about how everything is f----- and depressing while not feeling too dour and this album rides that line exceptionally. In all honestly I really like basically every song here, I was mostly familiar with See You At Your Funeral the most of every song here and that song still isn't old to me for the years I've been listening to it.

    It's paced really well, the songs thay are heavier like Full Blown Meltdown and the more melodic tracks like the closer City are all perfectly place and sound just as great as the rest on the record. I've had the album saved for a while and it's definitely staying there and in my rotation. Thank you @Jimmy Jazz for the recommendation so I could finally stop being lazy and give this a full shot, I gotta listen to more of their records!

    Favorite Songs: Free At Last, See You At Your Funeral, Scorpion Hill (if I had to choose one this would absolutely be my favorite), Bloody Mary, Kate and Ashley, Full Blown Meltdown, City

    RATING
    9.5/10

    Deadass almost named every song in order for the favorite songs but cut it the best I could lmao. I'm also understating just how I much I loved the lyrics, got my last listen in just before I wrote the review and I was listening with the lyrics pulled up. A lot of the writing here is hitting me at the perfect time which is something that this genre seems to do to me often which lends me to having such a connection with it. Unfortunate I have to be in a state for this kind of music to hit the way it does sometimes but I wouldn't want it any other way lmao
