I was waiting for any last minute reviews but it's been two weeks, so I'm gonna go ahead and count the reviews Egotrip has gotten.... 9.5/10!!! It is now #1!!! Oct 10, 2025 at 1:55 AM @AOTWClub @lowkitz Saba - Care For Me Heard a couple Saba tracks, none from this album. Mostly his song with noname. One thing I didn't expect too much was his voice, a lot of variation than I anticipated to the point where I thought it was different people rapping at certain points lol. All the production is great, very smooth and hits the laid back vibe with great buttery flows that I'm a huge fan of. The writing is pretty straight forward but really vivid and really works as a f----- up slice of life kind of feeling. Busy/Sirens is a great opener, Broken Girls is probably my least favorite on the record but it's still solid. Life is fuckig dope, love the chorus especially. The concept of Calligraphy is really cool, such a smooth listen, one of my favorites. Fighter is a an interesting direction to take a song like that and really makes it click how much I appreciate the vulnerability in the candidness ofnthe record. Smile is another favorite, the flow in the 2nd verse is immaculate its one of the more optimistic songs on the album and is really nice listen. Logout is cool, I've heard too many songs throughout the years about logging off but this is well written and Chance has a great verse. Grey is pretty nice with a really stellar 2nd half, I'll take any song I can get about labels being dogshit lmao. Prom/King is easily the best song on the record from a writing and song standpoint, incredible storytelling and imagery, gets more emotional to me than I was expecting, and him referencing his cousin Walter on the opening track makes it feel worse lol. And Heaven All Around Me is the perfect closer following from Prom/King. I didn't know much about this album but after listening and skimming through it again during the writing process I'm realizing most of the songs on the record can be about or relating to his cousin and I didn't think of it that way the entire time like an idiot and it already makes this album better lol I'm overall quite positive on this album the only thing that's gonna bring the score down to me is mostly the fact that I want more listens with it cause I haven't been able to do much full album listening due to work. I can tell this is gonna grow on me more and more with each listen and really sitting with the vibe and the lyrics of it. Favorite Songs: Busy/Sirens, Life, Calligraphy, Smile, Prom/King RATING 8.5/10
