Oct 14, 2025 at 3:45 PM Terrible ranking. Scream is the only franchise here where most of the movies are good. Most of the movies in the other franchises are bad, especially Halloween. Get rid of all the movies except Halloween 1, 2, and Halloween 2018 and it would be fine. Halloween and Friday the 13th are very similar in the sense that they are examples of franchises that got too popular for their own good and got too many s-----y sequels. At least ANOES doesn’t have that many movies compared to the other franchises
Oct 14, 2025 at 3:52 PM I would switch Halloween and Scream. As much as I love Halloween, Scream has been kinda flawless 7 movies in. Honestly think its hilarious how Jason is the face of F13 when the OG wasn't even about him. The sequels were all mostly average. Elmstreet also turns to s--- pretty quickly sadly. Still the good ones (from all franchises) are classics and the characters iconic.

Oct 14, 2025 at 4:35 PM Scream has a couple of duds too but I agree with the rest. They've all got some terrible movies especially Friday 13th... they ruined Kruger by going the funny Freddy route.. if they stayed with Evil Kruger it would easily be the greatest horror franchise.

Rewatched Smile, it's fantastic but I can't lie after a few times it's gets a little more boring. 8/10 Rewatched Hellfest; a halloween slasher at a horror theme park. If you just want some fun and get into the spooky season vibe (without crybaby emotions and a 'message') it's perfect. 7/10
