Oct 29, 2025 at 1:50 PM I think people try to rationalise with themselves because like I've said before man, the franchise looks and seems very dumb since its a new killer every movie... I know it's the movies but jeez how many f----- up minds can one part of the US have... they should've made the killers survive the first few movies. Then it would only be 3 or 4 new Ghostface.
Oct 29, 2025 at 6:58 PM Friday the 13th part 6: Jason Lives Honestly the opening was so f---ing lame lol. This guy literally went to the cemetary to dig up a corpse.... only to accidently revive it lmao. I haven't seen the previous movie so maybe Tommy had a very good reason for it. That said, once Jason is back it's a 'normal' F13 movie again and yeah having only seen 1, 2, and Jason X this is by far my favorite. Fun kills, love the girl playing the sheriff daughter. There's no actual storyline or anything in it (again, maybe that's also because I didn't see 3,4,5) but as a horror fan you can easily watch this movie as a standalone too. 7/10 Halloween (2007) Giving Myers a s-----y childhood kinda takes away all the dark and emotionless aspects of his being. In this movie he acts out of emotion. Still, the first half is cool and I like the Ronny character. Lame a--- redneck lol. Second half is basically a recreation of the OG with some changes. Happy they used the right music and Danielle Harris was awesome playing Annie. Not a fan of Laurie, her screams annoyed the f--- out of me. Still, a solid remake. 7/10 I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025) Second watch after seeing it in theatre. The original was imo a solid slasher. But no way did that movie need a requel 30 years later. Didn't need a sequel back then either but it did lol. The fact that they really gave us another accident at the same road is so stupid. Like, what are the chances of the same thing happening 30 years later. Movie also has a lot of corny moments like the ending -before the post credit scene- That said: they did some fun things with having characters do the complete opposite from the 1997 version and I like how they included some legacy's. Even if it was also dumb. Kills were mostly great. What I really did love was the actual motive. If they just went with that.. but yeah then the title wouldn't make sense. The post credit scene was good but mostly because it implies a sequel with just the old characters.. it raises a lot of questions. I'm down for another one though. This movie is sure flawed but I enjoyed it! And they didn't just rehash like Halloween, Scream etc. they actually surprised me w that twist! 7,2/10
Oct 29, 2025 at 7:02 PM I understand what you're saying bro but the Scream movies are always 'whodunnit' movies. Figuring out who the killer is, is like the whole thing. Having them survive kinda takes all of that away... But yeah it makes zero sense that some idiot(s) decides to use the same mask 10 years later to randomly attack people (or Sid for no reason) I agree.
Oct 30, 2025 at 9:03 AM Smile 2 This is an anual watch for sure now! There are different type of horrormovies. Some like movies about ghosts or demons (like myself) others prefer slashers (me too) and some like torture movies like Saw, Texas Chainsaw or Hostel. Personally I hate the last category. Smile, and Smile 2 literally take you into a persons mind going crazy. That is, aside from fun slashers, my favorite type. Smile 2 has some genuine creepy moments, jump scares and it makes me feel for in this case Skye. Absolutely love this and one of my favorite horrors OAT. 8,7/10 Halloween H20 I noticed people saying Halloween Ends doesn't feel like a Halloween movie. To an extent I get that. But why H20 gets praise from the same people, I don't understand. Still can't get over the fact that those lazy f---s used music from Scream instead of the Halloween theme music during the movie. Add the fact that this takes place at a school (hello Scream 2 rip off)... this sucks as a Halloween movie sorry. As much as I hate the Thorn bs I prefer most of that. H2018 however is by very very far the best. H20 is a solid slasher and Jamie does a great job don't get me wrong... but other than the opening scene and ending, this is very average to me. 5.5/10
Oct 30, 2025 at 11:08 AM Jason Goes to h---: The Final Friday - 3/10 This movie is dogwater. I barely even wanna talk about it. I kept checking how much of the movie was left because I couldn’t wait for it to be over. Jason X - 5/10 This movie is basically Jason goes to the future and to space. It’s a cool experiment but ultimately nothing to write home about. There’s some awesome stuff about it like Uber Jason. It’s entertaining but average in execution.
Oct 30, 2025 at 1:37 PM This is the most excited I’ve been for a Scream since 4. Really hope Williamson has done this justice. And I haven’t got a clue in which direction they could possibly go for who the killer(s) is.
Oct 30, 2025 at 1:55 PM Well after multiple trailer rewatches I’m now a little less excited. I was hoping for more of a throwback to the feel and atmosphere of 1 with Williamson invovled, but I’m not liking all these action scenes. a few corny scenes like falling from the chandelier, and Ghostface walking away from Stu’s burning house like he’s some sort of terminator doesn’t really fit for me either. A scene like that would have been completely out of place in the first movie. the we have those CCTV Halloween resurrection ahh scenes. Hmm not really sure what to think. trailer also pretty much proves that most of the leaked spoilers were true too, which is a bit disappointing. Was really hoping for something more
Oct 30, 2025 at 2:06 PM Also, what is the meta commentary of the movie? That's a big part of Scream for me. They are horror movies through and through, but are meta at the same time (Scream '96 making fun of tropes, Scream 2 making fun of sequels, Scream '22 making fun of requels). What's the deal with this one gonna be? I mean, according to the leaks it seems they are going the Spoiler: Scream 7 Plot Leak AI/Deepfake route, but where is the commentary on the horror genre itself?
Oct 30, 2025 at 2:07 PM I do really like the sequence of them sneaking through the walls and Ghostface stabbing through the wall, I think that was cool. I just dont have the excitement for this one like I did Scream '22 and Scream 6. I honestly keep forgetting it comes out in LESS THAN 4 months
Oct 30, 2025 at 2:10 PM I think that scene is a quite obvious call back to the mirror(?) scene in 3 where something similar happens to the Jennifer Jolie character. Unfortunately major leaks are already flying around the internet and the reveal and motive sounds completely underwhelming IMO. Hope I’m wrong though.
Oct 30, 2025 at 2:17 PM It’s crazy that this movie is even coming out in its current state tbh, not in terms of how good/bad it is (because duh the movie isn’t out yet, how will I judge the whole product), but because I’m pretty sure the plot leaks have been out and publicly spread/easy to find since September of last year and they seem to line up 100%. The trailer had some cool parts in it but it didn’t fully wow me like I had hoped. I kinda liked the series ending at 6 anyway just because it felt like a culmination of everything before it (the different masks being used, all the props being collected, etc). Only problem with 6 was that it was missing Sid
Oct 30, 2025 at 2:31 PM Nice! It has to be a familiar face though since he says 'did you miss me'. Stu maybe? Trailer looks cool the BnB s--- lmao but curious about this. Glad the GOATS Sid & Gale are both here.
Oct 30, 2025 at 2:36 PM Yeah there’s been a lot of plot leaks, but I think only recently have the leaks come about who exactly is behind the mask and why, correct me if I’m wrong though. can’t see them being fake leaks either considering all the others turned out to be true. At least we still have Spoiler: POTENTIAL SPOILER Stu’s voice and maybe his face appearing to look forward to I guess
