Nov 2, 2025 at 3:20 PM What I love about H 2018 Kills and Ends is all the little details... the rope Michael stole in the OG he used in Kills... the kids in the flashbacks 'Mullaneys' def a young version of the douchebag cop in Ends. The radio station. Dr Mathis being mentioned in Kills already as a d-ck, in Ends actually being a d-ck .. dr Mixter being mentioned from H2. Little kid from 2018 being around at Michaels death scene. Silver Shamrock masks. The woman from Kills confronting Laurie in Ends. There's stuff to dislike sure but also so damnmuch to love.
Nov 2, 2025 at 3:45 PM Why call it Halloween then and include it in the main series. Paranormal Activity for example, had spinoffs but not included in the main series. The amount of different ideas that could be made is crazy.
Nov 2, 2025 at 5:02 PM It's exactly the opposite brother. The original plan was to make a new Halloween themed movie every year. No sequels, no relation just the theme. The first one was about a babysitter killer. However the studio wanted a sequel so he made Halloween 2. Then he went back to his original plan and made H3, totally unrelated to Myers story. However, fans were pissed so John Carpenter dropped the whole thing and other people created H4 bringing Myers back.. and on and on.
Nov 2, 2025 at 5:11 PM I gotta be honest H3 is complete a--- I'd give it a 3/10. Same with the Exorcist movies after the first one, they're pretty bad. I didn't know that about Halloween so thanks for sharing. What's your take on 3?
Nov 2, 2025 at 5:14 PM Halloween Kills 'Evil dies Tonaiiit' will forever be a stain on this movie and the franchise lol. Luckily, it's only a very small part of this movie. Usually the last part, where the action takes place, is the most. For me it's my least favorite part. I love the first 2/3rd of the movie. The opening, the kills in the park, Laurie's neighbors, the couple in Myers house. It's the stupid s--- in the hospital that I hate. Chasing that poor b------, how do people not know what Michael looks like lmaooo. At least he was never a small fat dude everyone knew that. Karen was literally the only sane person in this movie, and Lindsey. It was nice to see Lindsey and Tommy, but as I said earlier Tommy character was so lame. Laurie's lap dog, being a tough guy like wtf is he gonna do what trained police officers couldn't lmao. Yeah I just need to ignore that people, after MM killing dozens of people, still think they can beat him with some wood and bats lol. In H4 they at least brought shotguns, those 'beerbelly's' were 10 times smarter than the dumb f---s in Kills. Sucks that Karen had to go, especially since it had zero impact on the movie itself. It was over and the next one is 4 years later. Earlier drafts had Ends start the same night, very curious what it would have looked like. Bracket and Marion were usesless.. also why would Marion be there in the first place? She literally drove Loomis to Smiths Grove and was never seen again lol (H2 doesn't count here). In H20 she had a purpose.. here not. Lindsey was great though. Some of the throwbacks/easter eggs as I mentioned above are dope. So yeah dumb people and meh last part aside, this definitely is one of the better ones. And it feels like a real Halloween movie to me. More to like than to dislike. They did a good job! 7.5/10
Nov 2, 2025 at 5:18 PM I think it's a pretty cool idea. Masks are an essential part of Halloween, love the concept of making them 'evil'. I gave it a 6.5 (average) because the execution sure had some issues. But it captures the halloween spirit, dope music and good concept. Not great though and I understand people not liking it. Exorcist 3 I kinda like man, and 2 at times. But not even close to the OG! Forgot about the other sequels except Believer.

Nov 3, 2025 at 5:31 AM Rewatched Halloween Kills and Ends and I hate the movies even more after the second watch. The whole hospital plot in Kills, with Laurie being unconscious for most of the film, was dumb, and the ending completely undermines everything about the original film. Ends is just bad from the start, with horrendous writing and characters. Whoever wrote the Corey arc and thought making Myers a side character who teams up with him, must have been on something when pitching that plot. All the films do look amazing, though. They capture the feel and vibe that gave the old films their charm and legacy. Unfortunately, Kills and Ends are just poorly executed, with writing that leaves a lot to be desired.

I'm sure that within the next 5 years they'll just rinse and repeat like they have been doing decades ago lmao. It'd be nice if they shelved Halloween for at least 10 years because the amount of reboots this franchise has is overwhelming at best.

Nov 3, 2025 at 9:00 AM We don’t need more Michael Myers s--- (except for the video game next year), it’s time for Jason Voorhees now. They’re working on the new F13 movie and video game as we speak. If they still can’t make a good Friday the 13th film after all this time they are doomed. The show they were working on also wrapped up filming. They seem to be putting some real effort in. Hopefully they can learn from the mistakes of this recent Halloween trilogy.
