I see so many people confuse why Doom is gonna be the big Bad of the next 2 Avengers Movies. Other then the obvious, Cast RDJ to put butts in seats and for plublicity stunt. There is a myth going around that Doom never takes his mask off. Which, to any one who actually reads comics knows this is not only false… but the original Secret wars climax is literally about Doom taking his mask off. He is literally the protagonist of the ending of the entire event. Like bro, his face is on 3 of the Covers of the Secret wars comic. Like how do people not realize Doomsday is adapting parts of secret wars as well. Want proof, just read the original secret wars event. The biggest moment of the entire war is Doom taking off his mask and revealing his face to all the hero’s. One of the issues is literally called “The Face of Doom”. This is why Doom’s face and identity is the driving force of the movie. Like yes, him wearing a mask is part of his character development, but it’s pretty clear he went to Franklin to heal his face

Also another rant. People like @Marsh say these new avengers are weak and useless compared to the old avengers when it’s literally furthest thing from the truth. Shuri is literally the smartest person on the planet and has the same abilities as T’Challa. So idk why people keep crying about not having a black panther when she is just as capable as he was. Ant-man’s daughter created a quantum satellite as a teenager and can do everything Ant-man can do. Ironheart is a Genius and can use magic. Kamala’s bangles ripped a whole in space time and she can time travel as shown in her show. Bob/Sentry is literally stronger than all the Avengers combined. Shang-chi can body anyone in the verse in hand to hand combat. John Walker is technically stronger than Captain America. Sam stopped a Hulk… something Tony stark couldn’t do without a hulk buster armor. Case in point, these new heros are just as intelligent and powerful as the OG heroes. Not likely them for thier personality is one thing but you can’t deny that they are smarter and stronger. Also people forget Wanda’s kids can negate her powers as shown in Wandavision when they were toddlers. And Billy Maximoff can resurrect the dead and warp reality just like her. But of course Marsh just gonna say they gay like he did with Loki.

That’s fair. I can understand why that’s many people’s biggest issue. Maybe it’s cuz i don’t really care if RDJ is doom. I’m more excited for the X-Men to finally be back front and center. And to see the avengers interact with each other again.

Crazy we are almost at 20 years of the MCU. I remember when it released. People thought Transformers was gonna be the next big thing, but Marvel came in and became the biggest franchise in film history. All because of this one choice
