i agree the roster is ready to win now. but to answer your question i don't think they should have kept darnold.

the offensive line has been beat up all year and altthough wentz has been able to play he's been playing hurt. but i'm not using injuries as an excuse because every team has them. i just don't think if darnold was under center for the vikings right now it would have made a big difference

True you’re right, OL is best up. I agree

do you think Daniel Jones would have performed equally as good? As he is doing in Indy?

hope McCarthy steps up when he’s back

I was just coming here to ask you this same question. Especially with Wentz news of being done for the season now. Not that at this point in his career he was much of an upgrade but at least he was getting JJ and guys the ball.

I like McCarthy but he clearly needs some time to develop. Hope it clicks for him when he gets back out there.

That loss just sealed our fate. Morale is f-----. We don't have Stroud locked up so he'll walk after his rookie deal.

    HOUSTON SPORTS IS EXHAUSTING!!!! FUUUUUCK!!!!

@Detroit24 to answer your question...if Daniel Jones was in Minnesota starting right now...i do NOT think he would be doing as good as he currently is for the Colts. one thing that has helped Daniel Jones is that the colts have been running the ball well CONSISTENTLY. it's funny because both darnold and jones, who were obviously very recently on the vikings, are performing well on their new teams. maybe kevin oconnell fixed them.

the vikings winning at detroit was huge simply because we were in danger of getting too far behind in the division. at least now we still have a chance...even if it's a slim chance.

man, the jets hit the reset button today. they traded sauce AND williams. i think its clear they wanna start from scratch

true, so many variables to consider…hope JJ can continue to develop as season continues otherwise I think it will be a loss season considering the weapons and how well you guys did last year

jets lol reset after reset…some franchises just can’t figure it out…sucks for fan bases….at least you have bunch of draft picks…like the browns…you got to hit on some players eventually

@The Product what do you think of the AJ Brown situation? i think he's frustrated he hasn't been able to contribute more to eagles offense.

WR is the ultimate dependent position. no matter how good a receiver is, they obviously can't throw it to themselves. a receiver has to depend on another player to their job, BEFORE the receiver can do their job. i get why playing WR could be really frustrating at times. and AJ Brown obviously isn't the first, we've seen plenty of WRs vent and get upset about not getting the ball or not getting it enough

i'm actually mildly surprised justin jefferson hasn't spoken out. i won't be surprised if jefferson eventually asks for a trade if not this year, then in the future

I think it’s fair in a way but the team is 7-2 so yeah he could probably help the team with more targets but at the same time he’s pulling attention away from Smith and Goedert who are both having pretty good years.

I think my only agreement with him is that other teams do scheme their top target open. You can always find a way to get the ball in their hands if you want so I think that falls back on a first year OC who is clearly still finding his footing.

As far as Justin Jefferson - he is probably my favorite WR in the league for a few reasons but the fact he smiles through it all and produces at a high level while having TERRIBLE QBs is unheard of with someone with that kind of talent. This year has been a little more rough than normal though so I’d be curious to see if he does look for an out eventually
