Jan 7, 2026 at 2:16 PM I really wonder what's next for Eminem. The second half of TDOSS makes it clear he defaults to rehashes of bragging songs and addiction / daughters. That's not worthy of an album. Even the AI Shady voice, which is cool, is a nostalgia bait rather than actual new content. And it's sad to see how corny Eminem is in the eyes of new generations. Those who did not grow up with 2000 - 2004 Eminem. I saw some comments on Reddit where someone said the "black guy pees" is second worst joke after "leave out a P, did he", completely missing the joke and the context before with the whole SAs / essays, etc. No matter what he does now he will be seen as the old white dude yelling at the clouds. I am certain if someone else just came up on the scene with Fuel verses or Animals, or the first half of TDOSS, he would have quickly become new focus of rap and would be hailed. With Eminem, it's really the case of "you ain't even impressed no more, you're used to it". I hope Eminem is aware he will not impress new generations like this. Probably cannot do it no matter what he does and how well he does it. So no more revisiting the past, no more bragging how he is the best. I don't see other rappers talk about it like it's competitive these days, no matter how old they are.

Em could gain loads of new fans by making music llike he did way back then, and also it seems like we've been saying after each new release "well it's a step in the right direction" How many steps does he need to take. 2 steps forward 3 back is more like it.

At which point you migrated here (as is your wont, I suppose) and tried to make a name for yourself on the strength of your history as a moderator on a nerdy Eminem forum -- Trshady -- that used to be the butt of jokes on SL because it was known for being even nerdier than the Stanley's Basement section. Needless to say nobody here ever cared or took notice of you, except maybe me (more on that below). That you even have to dredge this up just goes to show how desperate you are to try and get one up on me. "nazi scumbag", "bullied by triggered stans", "I was a Trshady mod" (LOL). Nobody cares.
