Jan 30, 2026 at 7:12 PM @Wreckless - Distorted Reality Favorites: Dispossession, If You Are To Bloom, In The Mouth A Desert, Fine Again, Afterglow, Butterflies Least Favorites: Leader of the Pack, Open Your Eyes, Bury me deep inside, Through and Through RIPPER ROO’S RATING: 7/10 This might be one of Wreckless’s riskiest and most creative tapes yet. God d--- there are some crazy instrumentals on here. “Untitled” and “Dispossession” tell you that right away. Some of these tracks have very little vocals and that was interesting for sure. “Untitled” and “Dust” make sense as openers and closers. I love the vocal tone and atmosphere on “If You Are To Bloom”, it’s right up my alley. The melodies on “Afterglow” really hooked me too. “Fine Again” has some real a--- lyrics: “[Verse 1] It seems like every day's the same And I'm left to discover on my own It seems like everything is grey And there's no colour to behold [Pre-Chorus] They say it's over, and I'm fine again, yeah Try to stay sober, feels like I'm dyin' here [Chorus] And I am aware now of how everything's gonna be fine One day, too late, I'm in h--- I am prepared now, seems everyone's gonna be fine One day, too late, just as well” When it comes to my list of least favorites, those songs just weren’t for me. I just didn’t vibe with the vocal tones of any of those vocalists. Plus “Leader of the Pack” just feels too country to me, I don’t f--- with the slight twang in this instance. I wouldn’t say they’re bad songs though. Overall this is a good tape. There were only those 4 misses for me. Other than that this is a sick tape. I think reality is definitely distorted somehow. @AOTWClub

Yeah it’s not that I dislike country, it’s just the country vibe in Leader of the Pack didn’t quite vibe with me. And thanks for the welcome back, I feel refreshed on this forum after taking a break. I was starting to not enjoy posting for a while there.

Seems like people only use it now when the sites down lol I only check in once in a while to make sure a certain user isn’t ban evading saying disgusting s--- or other randoms aren’t spamming bs, it’s technically not even my server, but I helped set it up way back when

Jan 31, 2026 at 5:53 PM @Michael Myers - A Late Night Drive Favorites: All My Friends, Run Away With Me, Backpack, Rewind, Nights Like This, Just Us, Street Lights Least Favorite: Late One Night RIPPER ROO’S RATING: 8/10 This might be Michael Myers’s best tape yet. Aside from one bad song (Late One Night), this tape is filled with mostly decent or better songs that I wouldn’t mind listening to on a late night drive. I might pluck a few of these songs out for that purpose. I just don’t like “Late One Night”, it almost made me cringe. I think the rapping style and the beat is just horrid. It almost made me worried about this tape and that it would be filled with s--- like this. Thankfully that ended up being the only song I hated on the tape and perhaps my only real complaint. Shout out to “All My Friends”, I absolutely love Tinashe and definitely have listened to her stuff on late night drives. I’m glad to see some Carly Rae Jepsen representation with “Run Away With Me”, she just really knows how to write a pop song. Shout out to “Rewind”, love Becky G. “Nights Like This” is a great pick, I was literally just listening to Kehlani on a late night drive a few nights ago. I love the OutKast sample on “Just Us” and shout out to SZA I was just listening to her on a late night as well. This could be the potential Myers magnum opus. I’m not sure I’ve rated one of his tapes this high before. He has a dope theme that he stuck too, I listen to a lot of these artists on late night drives just maybe not these particular songs although I could definitely incorporate some of them.
