Feb 13, 2026 at 4:41 PM I know it. Wasn't really a fan of the last one... some things can't be improved upon, and times are totally different. Like the original Halloween... campy, dated, and inimitable. The Exorcist. Amityville Horror. They're revising and modernizing Star Trek similarly... some of the updates have good moments, imo. Strange New Worlds in particular. I like the sense of humor there anyway.
Feb 13, 2026 at 4:42 PM Yeah Cotton was in 1 and 2, and they brought him back for a opening cameo in 3. Only to k--- him, but the scene was awesome. The way he was killed they really wanted to show it was final this time lol. But yeah I was angry as h---.
Feb 13, 2026 at 4:43 PM This is true. I think they did an amazing job with both Scream 5 and Halloween 2018 but even then they felt different from the OG's. Not that it has to be a bad thing though.
Feb 13, 2026 at 4:46 PM Yeah they bring back characters from 1, 3 (which has been ignored) and from the newer ones!
Feb 13, 2026 at 5:06 PM I would keep watching as long as Sid is involved. Gale is cool but I could keep watching if she died tbh
Feb 13, 2026 at 5:47 PM I don’t know if Sid alone would hold my interest. The history of the story is a big draw for me, & original characters interacting hold the sense of that history together. Ghostface doesn’t count. If Sid was the last man standing, I probably wouldn’t bother.
Feb 13, 2026 at 5:50 PM Sid and Laurie are the GOATS, as long as those two are involved in Scream and Halloween, I'm in.
Feb 14, 2026 at 3:05 AM I think they go with 'in hiding' until the final act when Billy finally drove his daughter to finish his job
Feb 14, 2026 at 4:47 AM they not coming back, blood. This should be a new trilogy about Sid also starring her daughter played my Mckenna
