Mar 4, 2026 at 5:53 PM Off topic but does anyone remember when Denzel Curry was putting out solo gems? Those were the days
Mar 4, 2026 at 8:49 PM I'm surprised he's been keeping the southern sound lately, it might seem outdated but I'd love for him to go back to a trap metal sound for another record cause I love Ta13oo

Mar 5, 2026 at 9:45 PM @Allis Mines - Big Monkey - Escape from Epstein Island Favorites: Orchards; Run, Run, Run; Portrait of My Heart; CPR; 100 Horses RIPPER ROO’S RATING: 9/10 Immediately starting the tape off with “Orchards” by Navy Blue was nice to hear. “God doesn’t make it too hard for those who seek,” was a great first line for a tape. Not to mention the last lyrics of the song, “Find beauty in the darkness that we battling. Kept it bottled in, we was dealt so many losses that we gotta win.” That’s exactly the type of timing I’m on right now. Navy Blue is underrated for sure. Then we went into another underrated rapper in McKinley Dixon. Y’all should check out his 2025 album Magic, Alive! if you haven’t already. “Run, Run, Run” is a wonderful example of his artistry. He straight up sounds like a classic rapper here for real. It was cool to see SPELLLING, Wet Leg, and Geese finally featured on a tape. Wet Leg’s song “CPR” especially has that attitude and delivery I really f--- with. All the other songs I didn’t mention were good as well. It’s just that “Lone Star” by Charley Crockett didn’t do much for me unfortunately. I gotta shout out “New Threats From The Soul” by Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band though. It’s a 9 minute song but doesn’t feel that long at all. Whenever I see s--- like that I feel the need to commend it for being an incredible feat. It didn’t get boring at all and even got better as it went along. Awesome mixtape. @AOTWClub
