Mar 27, 2026 at 4:26 AM Black Album, Blueprint 3, and Watch The Throne, and I think Kanye’s heavy involvement in the last two are why I like them so much
Mar 27, 2026 at 5:03 AM Oh lmao this was on the next page. Not mad at all, especially Black Album and WTT are absolute classics!
Mar 27, 2026 at 5:08 AM Those two are def undisputed classics but ik people don’t care for TB3, but no album with Thank You, Empire State of Mind, and A Star Is Born can be a bad album
Mar 27, 2026 at 6:10 AM Blueprint 3 is solid. The songs you mentioned but also DOA and Already Home are dope. Also will never forget Jay performing Forever Young with Beyoncé. Dude completely lost his voice but it was beautiful lmao.
Mar 27, 2026 at 9:45 AM Jay likes touching little kids. The Camel should be where R Kelly is right now.
Mar 27, 2026 at 9:49 AM Also Myers Ilisten to more hip hop than you. You didnt even know who fabolous was and Banks lmao Keep that trap closed before I service ur a--- PAUSE
Mar 27, 2026 at 1:12 PM Ive always felt Jay was a tad overrated, I like him and respect what hes brought to the game but project wise Ive never really loved a Jay album. To be honest I loved kingdom come when it dropped and everyone was like wtf. Blueprint 3 was my Jay Z intro album when I started getting heavy into rap. Stole it the CD from my cousin
Mar 27, 2026 at 1:24 PM Ofc I knew who they are. Just never listened to that Banks album in full before. Fabolous is this
Mar 27, 2026 at 1:24 PM Dre's beats on KK>> I just kinda dislike jay's high pitched voice on the album
Mar 27, 2026 at 4:46 PM Paris Texas - They Left Me With The Sword and They Left Me With A Gun Combo Meal Favorites: Dogma 25, Tantrum, Holy Spinal Fluid, Twin Geeker, No Strings RIPPER ROO’S RATING: 7.5/10 (This is a rare time I’m using the Dewey decimal system due to 2 projects being combined into 1 combo meal. Sword was 8/10 and Gun was 7/10) These are both really good projects from Paris Texas. I liked Sword more than Gun due to Sword being more rap heavy whereas Gun leaned more into the punk rock singing aspects which I don’t f--- with as much as the rap when it comes to Paris Texas. To illustrate that point further, just look at my favorites. 3 of them come from Sword while only 2 of them come from Gun. Sword had great energy on every track. There’s lots of good one liners as well, particularly on “Tantrum” and “Holy Spinal Fluid”. Sometimes the duo reminds me of XXXTENTACION and Ski Mask here which is a plus. Gun also has some nice moments, especially on “Twin Geeker” and “No Strings”. I thought I wasn’t going to like “No Strings” at first but the beautifully smooth singing on the chorus really pulled me in. This whole combo meal in general was a good experiment that really showcases the versatility of Paris Texas, even if I think their rap songs are more enjoyable. They still pull off the punk s--- well at times and never have a dull moment. There’s lots of creative production choices here and the duo works well together. @AOTWClub
