Most of the Netflix show was just Matt getting his a--- kicked constantly then getting healed by Claire, repeatedly. It was also so slow. But that’s just how tv shows use to be. Slow and drawn out, which actually gives you character development with foggy and Karen. That’s why it was so great. You connected with the characters. Also yes, they don’t film like this anymore. It’s why the Raimi movies look better than all of the MCU tom holland films.

Also started the cinematic universe trend of the 2010’s and made the MCU the biggest franchise in movie history. Mar 28, 2026 at 8:55 PM Jake Schrier's X-Men will be only about the OG 5 I hear. Jean, Scott, Beast, Angel and Ice-man. And I hear they are already cast and have been since late 2024. I also hear marvel is doing this intentionally and first steps was a preview of how they want to lean more into comic accuracy. So I am assuming this means Xavier school for gifted youngsters/mansion is the main setting of the first movie. Kinda like how stark tower was in first avengers. Another rumor going around is that every subsequent film in the next film will introduce more iconic x-men and mutants. But the first movie is mainly a character focused on the original 5 and Xavier. If true, it mean they follow a pattern of introducing Storm in BP. Psylocke in Shang chi 2, wolverine in Cap 5, MagiK in Docter strange 3, gambit and rouge in captain marvel 3, ect. These are examples so you get an idea of how the next era of assembly the x-men will go, and then the sequel will be when they all join the X-men similar to age of Ultron.
